Hacking Question Switch board repair

Hello,

I bought a Broken Nintendo Switch which wouldn't output video when docked. Replacing the most common culprit components but no go. I went over to replacing the USB-C port (which is a pain in the ass replacement) but still no go.

Unfortunately now the Switch won’t power-on anymore unless docked (power button not responding) and no image is displayed (console does get warm and USB power checker shows a draw of 5v and 0.5A).

I can now buy a new Main-Board but it doesn’t have a NAND-board (small separate PCB board with the NAND-chip). Can this be transferred from the old board or would it require the original that comes with the whole console (seller does not have it, being sold as faulty). Is there a way to make the one I have now work with the new one I’m planning to repair?

Old board = CPU-01
New faulty board = CPU-20

You can swap the motherboard

If you are buying a spare board it must come with its nand or else a hassel and avoid it

just ask the seller to include the nand
Dont buy it without
You installing your nand wont work
