Switch 2 randomly freezing

Has anyone else had there switch 2 freeze on them? it’s happened to mine a couple of times now. Yesterday I was using it for a while and it just froze completely I had to hard reset the unit. It’s seems when you use it for a longish or long period of time it freezes and you have to hold the power button down and restart the unit

Please provide more information:

-Where you live, is hot?
-The console is well ventilated ?
-can you hear the fan noise?

Were you playing docked, portable? which game? When you say "for a while", how many minutes?

I was in portable using it handheld playing Cyberpunk for about 45min roughly I think I don’t know the exact time. Within the uk it’s hot at the moment it’s July Summer time. Yeah I would say the unit was well ventilated nothing was covered up. No the fans were not making any harsh noises they certainly didn’t sound under any pressure. Also the unit was not hot to touch on the backside at all

Sorry guys I know what it is wrong now I should have googled first before I started this thread, my bad. I was downloading software at the time of playing and I exited Cyberpunk and went into eshop just for a moment apparently it’s a known issue with the Switch 2 units if you’re downloading software in the background and you try and use eshop it will freeze

On the latest firmware I did Google it Nintendo has an official page on the issue also they were talking about it on this Reddit thread read the comments below it mentions it. I’m assuming Nintendo will work on an update
