I think my switch 1 dock is constantly powering my hdmi switch and it's causing issues with the other devices on the hdmi switch. I have my Switch 1, PS3, and Wii on the hdmi switch. Sometimes when I try to play games on my ps3 or Wii, the hdmi video signal is scrambled. It'll randomly flash to a black screen or have weird pixel issues. But when I unplug the Switch 1 dock, everything goes back to normal.
Anyone else have this issue? Is it normal or is my dock cooked?

No problems with my hdmi switch but it was the cheapest I could find on Ali.

The HDMI port has some additional signals besides the video/audio signals.
The HDMI port does have +5V power but it should not be powered by the dock as it is not a host device.
Another possibility is that the signal that lets the tv/switch know that a cable is plugged in, might be randomly connecting/disconnecting.
Maybe try switching HDMI cables between your PS3 and Switch.
It might be the connector, it might be the cable or maybe your hdmi switch has some issues.

I'm using the Nintendo branded cable that came with my switch. I'll try switching them to see if that's the issue
