Swiss for Gamecube
0.1-r2

emu_kidid has released the first beta of Swiss, successor to the Gamecube homebrew utility SDboot.
While Swiss is made for Gamecube, it can be booted from the HB channel on the Wii via WiiPowers forwarder .
You will need a SD Gecko, or an IDE-EXI to use this utility.
See the changelog below for current features.

WOW, brings back memories of GCOS.

WiiKey SD works, so do those cheap sd adapters from Deal extreme. As for GC IDE-EXI Adapter where can I get one of those cheap.

I guess it only works to load from an hdd via a gamecube memory card to IDE adaptor. No USB support and there probably never will be because as far as I know the USB ports on a Wii cannot be accessed from gamecube mode.

No, the USB ports on the Wii can be accessed in gamecube mode. The problem is that you can't have both USB access and ARAM support as both need to use MEM2. Unfortunately, that means most games will not work correctly (and those that do work won't have sound or memory card access).

I thought it was starlet that needed MEM2, supposedly you can use USB from PPC but it's harder than just using IOS on starlet to do it for you.
