Yes (for most 3DS games), but if you already have homebrew access, then use can/should just use the corresponding 'sploit installer for the hax you want to use.Is it possible to use this save data tool to replace a save with a hacked save?
Will it work with a digital dsiware game?Yes, but if you have homebrew access, then use can/should just use the corresponding 'sploit installer for the hax you want to use.
No. DSiWare saves are kept on the NAND which are not freely accessible, much like the system saves for titles like StreetPass Mii Plaza and Mii Maker. Will it work with a digital dsiware game?

To edit these you need NAND access, which you don't get from simple homebrew exploits alone.
https://github.com/ihaveamac/9.6-dbgen-xmlsHello!
I can't backup Animal Crossing Happy Home Designar and Style Boutique 2 (both digital) saves.
Any help? I need to format the console and my little girl don't want to lose her data...
https://github.com/ihaveamac/9.6-dbgen-xmls
can't guarantee Style Boutique 2 works, please tell me if it does.
also, these games might have extra data ("extdata"). try JKSM for exporting save and extdata: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-jks-savemanager-homebrew-cia-save-manager.413143/
JKSM does have a 3DSX version. there's a link to download in the post.Thank you for your reply. I've tried jksm but I'm afraid it doesn't work either. The console is a 2DS without custom firmware, so I can't test de CIA version.
I don't understand the first link, what is it?
Thank you again!

read the README of the first link on how to set it up. it will let you export the saves for the two games you mentioned.
both will crash to red screens until you use the first link.Sorry I didn't explain correctly. I've tried the 3dsx version with the same result as svdt (red screen). I thought the cia version may have better compatibility but I can't use it.
I'll try to understand the first link but I think I may be a little too noob
Thank you!

put this at the root (replace the one that's already there): https://github.com/ihaveamac/9.6-dbgen-xmls/raw/master/boot.3dsx
download this, then copy "mmap" to the root: https://github.com/ihaveamac/9.6-dbgen-xmls/archive/master.zip
it's not a bug. if you really want to disable auto backups, create a file named "disable_auto_backups" in /3ds/svdt and put anything in it (can not be empty).A little help please...
Is this some kind of bug in Save Manager? Because every time I back up Pokemon Rumble World, there are other unnecessary backups also created (one of them from my Pokemon games, and another from 7th Dragon III, even if I did not insert any retail carts in the slot).
Which specific folder must I delete so that those auto backups are disabled?
Only have simple Homebrew & no CIAs or any of them complicated hax installations...
I might suspect that buggy Menuhax might be the cause. Although I already uninstalled & deleted this buggy Menuhax, those extra unneeded backups are still created.
Thanksit's not a bug. if you really want to disable auto backups, create a file named "disable_auto_backups" in /3ds/svdt and put anything in it (can not be empty).
unless you need to manage individual files in the saves, I would suggest you check out JKSM: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-jks-savemanager-homebrew-cia-save-manager.413143/
yes, there is a 3DSX download near the bottom of the post
svdt and save_manager are not the same thing. svdt had this feature for a while I think. Thanks
But... n00b question: How do I create a file named disable_auto_backups?
2nd question too: Is that auto backup a new feature? Because last year's save manager didn't have that.
Oh... but what I was using before was save manager (the one with the blue-faced zombie icon or whatever). Any idea how to do it in save manager?svdt and save_manager are not the same thing. svdt had this feature for a while I think.
here, just extract this empty file to /3ds/svdt
I don't know what "save manager" you're talking about. but it's probably really out of date so it's better to just not use it.Oh... but what I was using before was save manager (the one with the blue-faced zombie icon or whatever). Any idea how to do it in save manager?
