If he does, then you should do it too instead of asking him here if he needs any testing done

If there is anything new or any possible discovery, I am certain he will announce it since he did say he is planning to release his work if he achieves what he wanted to achieve.

Nagging on an hourly/daily basis won't get you anywhere nor will it get you answers to the questions you have asked.

You guys should really stop bugging him about progress. Honestly I'd be surprised if this is released within a few months, if at all. This stuff takes a long time, if he has any updates he wants to share he'll share them

This. Seriously leave the guy alone, I'm sure if he has any new updates to tell us, he will, well... tell us. No use in constantly pestering him.

If he comes up with an exploit, then things will get private, as he should search for Devs ala @WulfyStylez or someone to take a look and get everything they need in terms of research and usability instead of it releasing immediately and getting patched with no further development.

Guys if you want ARM11/ARM9 kernel or CFW right now just get a 2DS or a <-9.2 3DS (2DS would be easier as it is 6.0.0 firmware when you buy it with browser, instant CFW)

Rather offtopic, but I've been wondering. What's the cheapest way to find a 9.2 3DSXL online? Should I go with a Japanese system or an american one? I haven't found a thread for this kind of questions so I figured I'd ask while we're on the subject of buying second-hand exploitable 3DS systems.

Basically any new O3DS(XL) should be below 9.2, as there haven't been any reports of 9.3+ models out.

Yeah that's the issue, a new O3DS XL is way over my budget as I live in South America and the prices are inflated as hell. I was looking to buy a used one, but I guess it's harder to find one under 9.2 since there's always a chance that the previous user updated it unknowingly. Oh well.
