I was using an old build of rxTools (very early 3 I believe, or very last 2.6), I updated it and now emunand is not booting (black screen). Any reasons for this to happen?

EDIT: Okay, it wont load rxMode, not in sysnand nor emunand. Tried different rxTools 3 builds.

i've been running v2,6 too and when I tried to install FBI on emunand it says it was good, but when I try to launch rxmode in emunand I get an error.
Also when I open rxtools it does that thing where it downloads files to boot faster, I get "FAIL! ERR -2" what is the problem?

Hokay, so I HAD rxTools working last night but for some reason now it's either just sitting at a black screen or giving an SD card error. I tried restoring my emuNAND to my working backup to no avail and am starting to think it may be an issue with the build I'm using or my SD card itself. Any help/info/suggestions appreciated.

EDIT: I'm able to boot into systemNAND with rx running but when I do so it crashes theme.

Hi guys, I have just downgraded from 10.3 and after creating an emunand I am trying to install rx tools. The first time the installation opened just fine and completed successfully but it got stuck at the end after the installation completed message it asked me to press any key but it was just stuck. I turned the ds off and now the installation gives me a black bottom screen while if I hold the L button while booting it takes me to the option menu. If I try to reboot in emunand the rxtools application gets stuck on the RXMODE IS BOOTING screen. Do you have the latest build available? All the links in the guides are down.

hello all, i downgraded from 10.3 and installed emunand succesfully, now I'm trying to run rxtools 3.0 but it always fails when initializing for the first time, even tough I have the firm folder with the .cia files that i got with the python tool. what should i do?

So when I try to launch rxTools with menuhax and ctrbootmanager, I got the installing files thing then when it tries to boot into emunand, i'm greeted by an endless black screen. However, when I use the rxTool Launcher from the web browser, it will boot into the emunand fine. Is there something wrong with the code.bin? Or do I not have the files in the right folders? I can get into the rxtools menu on both and I have a o3ds on v9.2. Thanks.

FIXED IT MYSELF. I was missing some files.

I downgraded my O3DS from 10.3 to 9.2 successfully. I'm using Cubic Ninja to install, so I'm following the "Users with only Cubic Ninja or Sky3DS loaded with a Cubic Ninja ROM" one.

I download EmuNAND9 and put Launcher.dat on the root of my SD card and go to the website, go.gateway-3ds.com, then this message pops up:

Basically, from what I am reading and watching, this message is not suppose to pop up, but instead something else where you can scroll through and press "Backup system NAND."

Do I need to format my SD card?

And a totally unrelated question to this problem. After I install rxTools. If I'm not using menuhax, I can use a custom theme, correct?

1.- An exploit for NDS flashcards.
2.- FBI can do it, I think.
3.- You can't, unless you have a compatible NDS flashcard.

Someone check if I'm wrong, please.

Sometimes rxtools just boots a black screen i'm on 9.2 and using 3.0 and loading it on ninjahax.one more thing it boots to emunand but doesent aways have RX-E in system menu is this normal

I boot into rxMode no problem, but when i open System Settings (shows RX-E 9.2) and close it back, it boots into sysNAND instead of emuNAND and disables rxMode back.

Any ideas why?

I am having trouble setting up RX-tools on my newly downgraded N3DS. I managed to backup my sysnand with emunand9 so that means the downgrade was successful and complete, right?
Anyways, sometimes when I launch RX-tools it freezes on a black scree, sometimes it freezes with the nice RX-tools theme on the top screen with a blank bottom screen, and sometimes it loads up but when i try to boot rx mode it says failed to load native firm:4
Any help would be appreciated.

that's normal. exiting system settings reboots the system, and without RX tools to guide it, it reboots into unpatched sysnand. consider setting up cold boot with menuhax.

Hi guys i have a little problem and its driving me crazy.

I installed rxtools using the recent downgrade method.

Last night i was playing Pokemon Shappire with no problems , turned off my 3DS, and this morning when i tried to launch rxtools the browser failed and an error message was displayed "failed to load part of this page".

Did something change magically while my 3DS was turned off? its giving me the same error every time.
