From what i have heard SC Lite at current state does NOT save either DS or GBA games

Where did you read such bullshit? All my saves work fine, I even imported my EZ4 lite save games to my supercard lite. MMBN6 saves just fine, and it's a GBA game.

I do NOT know what you are talking about because i am not sure if you are still using patcher/kernel the SC Lite came with because that's what sneef said yesterday on scdev forums.

With the new patcher saves work perfectly fine. The micro sd is accessed in a different way in this cart and that's why the old patcher could not. I'm sure the patcher on the chinese site will be released on the english site on friday.

Nope.

To answer the those who are saying the saves don't work, I'm not using any special version or the supercard patcher, just the vanilla 2.542 I downloaded from the website and the saves work perfectly fine on my side.

I downloaded the improved microSD version and things work even better.

Im annoyed, it looks better than ez4lite and its cheaper.
THen I realised that its just the same as the big supercard I have, plus doesnt support skins or have that good gba compatability.

Alright, thanks for coming out..

I honestly don't care for skins, the menu allows me to select my game/homebrew. That's all I need it to do. Skins don't justify the extra cost, not in my books. I have an Xrom and a backlit GBA SP for gba games.

This is basically what I want:

A NDS backup device that runs as follows

a) G6 lite w/ good gba support + 1 GB memory.

OR

b) M3 micro with microSD support. Runs games WELL on a normal MicroSD card + good gba support + decent interface -- somewhere between the supercard and g6 lite's. I hate the fact that the G6 lite's interface takes so much space. The supercard's interface sucks because of its sorting order.

I'm waiting for the M3 Lite as the SuperCard Lite is the same as my SC miniSD and is not worth the purchase as of yet.

Well G6 and M3 are on a real roll now.. they managed to finally get Mario 3 on 3 fixed today (fixed random lock-ups), way ahead of all the others

... I wonder how long it's going to be before they fix it again, 2 days

btw.. anyone know if M3 are still struggling with NSMB ? do they still have to load it into the GBA ram to run

M3 should stick to their pretty menus and just concentrate on 'Organisers ect' .. leave the DS patching to real teams.
