Meh. I said it before and I'll say it again. It's the best DS mode cart there is. Period. Even if they give up and don't try the gateway mode support anymore, I'd still buy it for the DS mode and GBA emulation.

Don't tell me what to do with my time. I perfer to instant gaming rather than waste my time waiting.

GW or CFW, you /have/ to install game updates as .cia so you don't gain anything being on GW there.
(Or from eShop but that's the same thing, just officially.)

I just wish the internal CPU wasn't running at all times just from being in the cartridge slot... makes it heat up for nothing and cuts battery life massively.

Just for that I was considering getting one of those cheap R4i Gold 3DS clones that work on latest firmware, cause I don't actually need all the extra features from the DSTwo anymore. Just need it for playing DS games, and chrap R4 clone with Wood R4 is perfect for that.
