    Hey all.

Just wondering how my supercard dstwo will fare running the GBA application on the 3ds vs my dslite. I'm specifically asking about system intensive games like most of the Camelot titles. (Golden Sun 2, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis)

Those are not playable on my dslite, unless I use the EZ flash 3 in 1, which lets the games run in an exact GBA mode, so it plays perfect. (but obviously can't use save states this way)

Is the 3ds able to handle the camelot games, or it's still down to the supercards limitations, and the games still have performance/stutter/lag as they do on the dslite?
(and if it's a no-go, is there any cards that can power through those games?)

    Thanks for any clarification!

It's the same performance. The Supercard is the best slot1 card for GBA emulation.

Ok, so I shouldn't expect a playable GBA Mario Tennis.

Oh well, at least the 3-in-1 works ok on my dslite. Just wish I could cheat and save state with it. :-P

Camelot games run at 30fps, good enough for me personally... are you using the latest version of the emulator?

Also, http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/TempGBA_Compatibility if you haven't looked there.

Also you should get better battery life on the 3DS, as it has a better battery than the DS Lite (it will drain more than a DS game, but less than a 3DS game.)

Nope. The DSTWO uses the processor in sleep mode (I think that it's due to the hardware design). That's the reason why it drains much power in the sleep mode. You can calculate with about one day in sleepmode with the DSTWO.

I meant during GBA emulation. Also, I just take the DSTWO out of my 3DS when I'm trying to streetpass people.

    Okay.
That's still not true :P The DS Lite may have a bader battery, but the battery lasts not so long. The 3DS doesn't use pure hardware in the DS Mode: It has to emulate some parts, too. It doesn't last as long as the DS Lite (at least the "normal" 3DS).

Sorry, didn't realize the DS Lite was 5-8 hours, as is the 3DS. Oops! Probably didn't realize this as I only owned a regular DS Phat...

You could get a GBA flash cart with cheats. I think I still have a purple supercard sd somewhere.

Right, I already have a supercard dstwo, and a 3-in-1 GBA slot 2 device (which runs any gba game perfectly as a native GBA game)

I was just hoping it could run something on a 3ds that would take advantage of the additional power. The default supercard GBA emulator (and even the PSP's) can't handle the camelot titles.

Hmm.. maybe it's not the latest version. But I can tell you that running the GBA emulator that is part of the supercard dstwo package, causes some MASSIVE lag, basically making the game unplayable. (My psp does a BIT better, but not much)
THe ezcard 3-in-1 solves this, but I can't use save states, and have to do the NOR and PSRAM game loads on it.
