Hacking Supercard ds one - menu/ icon screen on bottom?

Just as the title says, when the card starts up i want the options on the bottom without pressing L+A to toggle. When I try to save the setting, it seems to save all other menu options but which screen is where....Is there a way to do this?

Open global.ini (found in scshell) in a text editor. Find FileSelectSubScreen and change the variable to your liking.

I believe that you can also change the screen as you have stated and then select one of the menu options and there is "Save Menu" or the like. This might work for you without having to change the global.ini.

Yeh, as said you have to edit the global.ini

Not all options can be saved by the menu.

Cool thanks for the help - last question - is there a way to the folder information popup at startup? I checked around the global.ini and couldn't seem to find an option for that...
