Hi,

i encountered errors while starting up my DS lite with SuperCard DS(one).
i formatted my Sandisk 64mb microsd card with fat32.
i downloaded msforsc_DSONE_eng.zip and extracted the files to my micro sd card
and then i slotted into my supercard ds(one) and then started my DS lite, and got this error message:

"...encountered a file error...have you moved the root file? try re-inserting...try another brand...etc"

this is without even transferring rom to play.

and when i tried putting in clean Dogz rom and playing,
it says "not support adapter"

i've run the self test, and it returned sd card error: 0005
does it mean i should change and buy a new micro sd card? Mine is Sandisk 64mb.
Damm getting a new one is going to cost more...
and what brands of micro sd card is recommended?
i really don't want to get a new one and then later discover that its not working when i get home to play it.

this suxs.

you have a 64mb microSD that you want to use for games with the supercardDS one? that is sixty four mega bytes right?

you REALLY need to buy a new microsd, there are roms that are 128MB! i dont think you can even put just one 64mb rom in there! doesn't the cart's OS take atleast a few MBs??

EDIT: oh yeah, if you're gonna buy a new microSD, try going for kingston instead of sandisk; there is alot of good feedback about them, and they're cheaper.

I'm using 1G sandisk. and it works fine. It says some error message on the bottom screen ,but it flashed to the next screen to quick for me to read it. But other then that message it goes straight to the menu and works fine. Try formating your card with FAT and not FAT32 since it is such a small card

thanks digital sin.
yea, that screenshot is the error message.
ok i'll get a new microsd card and tell u guys if it works
thanks for the help

Haven't you guys used any of the newer builds of Moonshell? It's a Moonshell error. It's been there from 1.41 up. It really doesn't do anything though. Everything still works perfectly. Just ignore it. Hopefully the Moonshell creator will fix it in the next version.

hi guys,
thanks, i went to get a kingston 512mb microSD card (japan assembled),
they were on sale at sim lim square (i'm from singapore)
and it works!

but i think there are still some kinks with the supercard DS(one) software, cos i played
0395 - phoenix wright ace attorney clean and it won't save and it hanged halfway.
It is only after patching with the ds one software, that the game worked, and can save now.

Am still playing the game...so let's hope no hangs.

And i really hope the supercard team would provide updates soon for the card, to solve the memory sav selections (which are sometimes wrong, have to correct manually), and increase clean rom compatibility %.

fav games now, really love the refreshing gameplay:
brain age
phoenix wright - ace attorney

My advise is if you want a smooth experince playing NDS games on your Supercard try getting a "High Speed" card like the SanDisk Ultra II or a Kingston Elite Pro as both are good High Speed compatible flash cards.

well im looking into the Transcend 512MB 80X microSD but i cant find any speeds for it but if its 80x it should be 12mbs which is faster than the ultra II which is 10mbs

How about 2G Sandisk MicroSD? Has anyone tried this?
Is there any problem for running the game?
