Thanks i have done i found a 2gig one ,

Now i have a question: Do you know the lower lcd screen well im replacing the touch screen that goes on top of it ,

but i cant remove all the sticky marks off the lcd display theyare all over it not just round the edge (not the touch screen ) , will i need to remove all traces of adhesive before applying the new touch screen and if so , how would i go about doing this?

thank-you

No i mean the actual LCD unit situated underneath the TOUCH SCREEN. When i removed my broken TOUCH SCREEN it has left blurry sticky marks all over the LCD SCREEN.

How could i safely remove the crap off the Lcd Screen , so that i can apply my new Touch Screen

thank-you all for the help so far

I really didnt want to triple post but i need an answer to this problem,

The thing is i would try just installing the touch screen normally , However i dont have endless supplies of NDS PHAT touch screens to waste if it turns out that the sticky stuff on the lcd is causing the touch screen to malfunction ......

Im stuck on repairing this unless someone helps or failing that i suppose i could just risk it and apply the new touch screen .....

Thanks

Try using some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip to gently rub it off.

Thanks for the advice mate, i tried this and although it seems to have gotten rid of the marks there is still some sort of mysterious marks like blotches that still remains. So i have a further question to anyone who might want to answer it .

Q. I know i can use any of my original ds screens in either the top or bottom , i removed the top lcd screen and notice this is very new looking with no marks on it whatsoever so would it be a good idea to use the top lcd for the bottom thus applying my new touch screen on the perfect screen?

And also i notice that the top lcd screen has a padding around the edge as to make it flush with the case

The lower lcd just has a inset gap running down the top and right side of the screen so would need to do anything with these particular differences of the screens or should that not matter

Once again thanks
