If I'm superbanned can I still play with mates via WiFi say we wanted to link 8 consoles together for mario kart I know I can't play online but what about with others

Sure why not since its not connecting online.

Local play works even if you're banned or doesn't have an internet connection.

What if one of the games are not legit? For instance, if I have a game installed via Tinfoil on ReiNX, and try to connect with someone that have a legit (cartridge or eShop) version of the game on Horizon OS, would that work? Does anyone know? I ask purely for scientific reasons, of course.

Then ask your friends consoles will get superbanned aswell, after they start to burn.

You should be fine but I have never tried to link 8 consoles together.

8 consoles together? Sheesh. I haven't event linked more than two together .that was one time and I haven't done it again since .

It is supposed to work but I can imagine it being buggy unless there is no other WiFi interference. Each switch needs a copy of MK8D as well.

It's not buggy on 3DS.
