Hey GBATemp!

SSB.CLASH needs your help dudes!
We're short on Coders and we could always use some new spriters!
We had a lot of spriters back in the days (around 2-4 months ago)
but a Forum Crash Split us up apart pretty good.

Now we have a new forums!
http://ssbc.phpbb3games.com/
its better now

CODERS.
We write code in C++ , the coders we're taking are gonna code Stages and Characters, which i heard it isnt that hard!
so even if you're not a coder you can learn to be a Stage/Character coder on clash!
The lead coder said that it was just Copy-Pasting then changing some Values and paths or somethin, then compiling it .

SPRITERS.
You can Sprite characters or Stages! just read the guide lines on the forums!
p.s im the lead Character Spriter

Others:

Designers :
Create Interfaces and what not. of course we have some done but that doesnt mean we cant change it for the better!

Animators:
Animate Sprites that spriters cant. usually the spriters animate themselves, but some of them can't animate!

So , heres hoping we get new members soon!
REGISTER HERE

EDIT

here are Teams you can Join :

Character Spriting
Character Coding
Stage Spriting
Stage Coding
Music
Sound Effects (including Voices)
QA (Quality Assurance/ Beta Testers)
Design

Ontopic: I'm not really a fan of the homebrew smash bros, but good luck to you because I'm sure there are a ton of people out there who are.

Well I'm great at spriting, I'm learning how to code in C++/C, I'm good at beefing up designs other ppl have made, I'm willing to help, and I just made a acc on your forums(Van_Xan).

Wow, someone went Mod-Happy.

I like your logo and may beable to help with some interfaces, although I can't say for certain.

I'm the lead coder now, because Emmanuel left.

Basically, the coding jobs are so pathetically easy that they hardly deserve to be called coding positions. But they will require a bit of time to balance the characters, and a little bit of time to learn.

We're hoping to get some stuff ready for a new release soon. On that note, if anyone is able to point me to something that will help me with learning to use GRIT properly, that would be helpful. I can GRIT most things I need, but would still like to learn it more thorougly.

Thanks Guys.

:faceplam: its the same story as with ssb rumble... the main coder leaves(fuzzy.... now emmanuel) I know both a bit but I didn't hear about them a long time! so did emanuel leave?! well ssb rumble is crap now(sorry if I insult you but it is true!) But I won´t think this will happen to clash but it seems that beginning coders like me are taking over the main coding! thats called courage!(but I dont know bout Swifty)

but I should say I did ruin my live with rumble so I dont believe in a ssb ds game anymore srry guys!

well but if someone is going to translate this game: I gonna be dutch translator! huh lol I dont think they will accept beta testers but if they will I am in!...

p.s. Brawler don´t you recognize? or maybe Langin does work. well I was the greatest n00b on the rumble forum!

I can come up with some Menu Layouts... ive been wanting to make a SSBDS and had some Menu Ideas...
ill remake them and post them on your forum when i get back on my PC...

Actually Tsunamii, we're having a full testing team so that the tests are polished by the time they reach the public. However, at the current time we've got Gokudo doing some testing as the only member of the team.

Still, I've made some improvements to the characters and the game is feeling more balanced and definately less floaty already. Hopefully I can get something worth a release done soon, but I don't want to release it until it's ready.

And Soma, yeah, I'm new to C++ as a language, but not to coding. I'm still learning how to do everything, but we're finally starting to make some progress. But the main thing that's really giving me problems is the damn grit. I've already seen all of the pages that Tsunamii posted, and it's just not helping. I need to figure out what Emmanuel used to grit the character previews with extended palletes and the characters, because otherwise the graphics side of the game will be way below what I want it to be.

Emmanuel left cause he is pursuing real life, but he left us with a good code! just not very much explanation.

That's great. That's exactly what we need. We have seperate teams for the coding and spriting of both Characters and Stages.

We have positions open for leaders for character coding, and general coders for both characters and stages, if anyone is interested in that side of things.

We're also looking for people for the Character Spriting, Stage Spriting, Design and QA Testers Teams.
