All I did to get the PAL DVD-5 to work was just change the region with Region Frii to NTSC-U (not even sure if this is necessary), and burned it using imgBurn at 2.4x on a Verbatim DVD-R, and forced NTSC in Backup Loader 0.3. No lags, no duplicate video or any other issues as of yet. I haven't played the single player, only the multi, but it's flawless. My source was "Super_Smash_Bros_Brawl_DVD5_PAL_Wii-WiiLeet". Hope this helps.

I know the game is most important than videos, but I like them.
I liked the game, since I just started to play some day ago, I'll go to buy it original.
Thanks!

I've a WEIRD problem with this game.
Intro cinematics works great, but when I start the "not" classic mode (don't remember the name) I get:
first video ok, second video (zelda near the metroid suite), and then every other video (each one before a new match) is the same (zelda).
It's very odd...never had problems with other isos, just this.
I tried the DVD5 version, maybe it is the problem?
What is difference between the DVD9 and this? (Apart of the size, obviously).
Thanks.
the same thing happens to me. i'm sure it's because it's edited to fit on dvd5, but this game is all about bustin' some ass, not watching cutscenes so it doesn't bother me. i would skip them anyway.

i've updated me wii yesterday to 3.3v2 and my 4.7 dvd-r backup of ssbb stopped working and when i insert the dvd it gives an error syaing "THE SYSTEM FILES are corrupted please refer to the wii operations manual for help troubleshooting"

i tried to downgrade and i tried Gecko 1.7 but nothing workeeeeeeeed!!!!!!!! any help please?
