Hello people

I really need help with information about this great game: Super Robot Taisen.

Im trying to make a game like this from scratch with my own personal characters, but i dont know what kind of technology/program or tools they used to make this game.

Something like this one:

My real objective is to make the game for android/ios platform available for everyone for free.

Err...well you're going to need to know how to program first of all, using languages like Java/C/C++, at least if you want to create a knockoff of that. You're also going to need to make you're own models, scripting, etc etc. You can't just use some program to make a game like that.

Yeah i know
I'm aware that i will need those type if languages, scripts, etc.

Buy i need to know what programs i need exactly to come true this project

Well first off you're going to need the Android SDK...compilers for whatever programming language you use, your preferred software for model designs (I don't know if you're going to want 3D models or 2D or 2.5D or whatever)...

Actually, it'd probably be easier to just link you to some tutorial thread somewhere, this one from XDA Developers is pretty thorough. Dunno if it'll have what you want to make, but it should help clear things up...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1753131

Thank you

It looks very good for an starter.

So... i´ve been doing more research about this: and i came across with this Game Maker StudioNot sure if that program will help me doing this.

Keep in mind that Super Robot Wars games are very big and you should NOT even attempt to create something on that scale. The attack animations alone would take months if not years. You'd probably better start off with something small. And then think of something even smaller and start off with that.

Except if you have a team backing you up with this...

Im not planning on doing this just by myself.

Anyways... What do you guys think about that Game Maker Studio program?
