EDIT: Saw my mistake. However, it was your mistake thinking it was Tanooki Mario. Rather, it's Raccoon Mario.

I don't have a source or anything, but I was next to positive it's supposed to be Holiday 2011 or something.

An official release list says Holiday 2011 and so did the E3 babes.

Iwata (or Miyamoto, can't remember which) said it was coming this year as well.
