Hacking Super Mario Star Road with loadiine?

I can play Super Mario 64, but when I try to play Star Road I can't pass this screen:

Is there a way to play it?

Not as far as I can tell. I couldn't get past this screen either.
I tried to mess with config files, but it will always crash there.

Don't most SM64 romhacks do stuff an actual N64 couldn't? Maybe Nintendo just didn't bother emulating that stuff, since no official games could use it.

Can't the Wii VC run romhacks though? I may be wrong.

Pretty sure that rom hack is 8MB, meanwhile the original SM64 is 4MB.

Most romhacks rely on terribly inaccurate emulators because that's what they were originally tested on. Look for everdrive compatibility and such tags. If it won't run on a real N64, it won't run on the VC either

yeah that rom hack was made only for windows pc emulators nothing else will play it
