same with me. My wii menu is filled with n64 and wiiware games. everything else is played off the SD card. By doing that, I don't need to worry about space.

Seconded. A few of my friends said they didn't care because they could emulate it, but there's just something about playing the retail version on the Wii that is fun.
I never noticed how dated this is, though, like how there's no dodging like on Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.

Well to me the spinoffs are the inferior titles on gameplay values alone. SMRPG did not require the use of timed hits to defend enough not to die in the game from regular attacks, nor required timed hits to get it done quick. SMRPG was a traditional rpg that tossed in a taste where you could slightly alter attack/defense a bit but wasn't needed to enjoy it.
