Yup, that's why I'm coming back on at 4 or 5. I'm sure I mentioned in one of my previous posts that I'll be telling you guys what's up with the disc.
To be honest, someone had the disc (the exact copy I have) before me, and they played it for over an hour on an unmodded console. So it looks like the full game, not a demo. And (surprise, surprise) the original disc works on a console with no modchip.

Well I came on because there were 22 pages of posts in less than 48 hours of people saying "what's going on with this??" and I had my answers, which I said I would back up as soon as it was possible to do so. You really think there was no reason to that? I guess that's a judgement call on your end but I just wanted people to say "Okay, I'll check back then." and then when I confirm it they can say "okay well now I know."

The fact that I came into contact with this disc while I was really not trying to (YES I was trying to find it on the torrent sites because people had been talking about it - but I NEVER thought the physical copy would fall into my lap) showed me that many many many people must have access to it, so I figured ONE of those people might NOT be like me, and YES, upload torrents.

I guess this is coming off sort of douchebaggish, and for that, I apologize. Seraph, I'm sure you're normally a little condescending on these sites when you think people are being idiots (which alot of people do, and alot of people are), but when it's me, and I'm being honest, I don't react well to that kind of thing.
I could just not tell anyone anything about it right? But no, I registered JUST to let people know the deal and I'll prove it tomorrow. I thought I was doing a GOOD thing but you immediately attacked the post. And you're STILL trying to attack my logic (but I think this post answered all of that).

Exactly. Are you dumbfounded about that? Well I'm dumbfounded about this. I got my Wii about a month ago so Metroid was out well beforehand, so I didn't experience that. But this is weird. A copy of Mario Galaxy literally fell into my hands completely by accident (albeit only overnight), so other people HAVE to have it, and I don't know why no one's putting up online.

BTW - running an NTSC Wii with a Wiikey installed, 1.9.
And to be honest, for one last thing - I'm a little worried about updating my Wii for this game. I know for a fact it asks you to update your Wii when you put SMG in (the person before me with an unmodded console told me) and it gives that creepy message about how modded consoles might no longer function.
I know it also gave that message with Metroid but I looked it up on Google before I updated, and people previous to me said it was fine to do. This time around, I'm sort of my own pioneer.
I'm a little nervous to risk it.
