I'm sure I've used it before to extract ISO's from my legit games onto a USB for use with a USB loader.

I know there are programs out there that can extract the ISO directly from the disc.

Not original discs. Unless you have the specific LG drive, you need a wii with a cIOS or an SD Gecko to dump discs.

Doesn't WBFS Manager work? I could easily be wrong, as my knowledge on hacking isn't much. I do only what I have to do for homebrew stuff, custom menus and backups.

Only for burnt discs. WODs use a different TOC and make no sense to your bog standard optical drive.

I was wondering about that. I wonder what's in the pass-protected RAR, though. I'm not expecting it to be the game, but I do wonder what else they could cram in there to make it a few gigabytes in size.

AFAIK that was only for Xbox 360 games as press copies did not have the security information and would get regular xboxes banned from XBL

Since Nintendo hardly ever bans people...

correct usenet needs a news server to use check your isp if they provide one free...mine does
