I'm definitely excited for it. It's on my must-buy list right behind Luigi's Mansion 2. It's almost like classic Mario platforming + modern Mario platforming mixed together to form a game full of awesomeness.

I like the camera angle TBH...It's not straight to the side, and it's not right up against Mario. It's different, which is probably one of the reason people disliked it (Even though everyone bitches about the series not changing much, or gameplay mechanics not changing much, etc.).

The levels looked a little lackluster, but it's just the demo, so I'm sure other levels will look more "full" and not lifeless and dull.

What exactly does this mean?

It's like in the original Super Mario games where if you had something like the Fire Flower or the Cape, when you'd get hit you would lose the power.

I don't understand why they make such small changes between region boxarts.

The American one and Japan's are basically identical except for a few small things. Never understood why.

And the game is a day one purchase.

Either it's cheaper for NoA to print out less details, or they love Japan more

This game looks darn fun.

I would prefer it to be something like Super Mario 64 styled though, but it's not. Hopefully it isn't too similar to New Super Mario Bros style, cuz I don't really like it.

HECK YEAH ITS MARIO. Ever since i got my first console, mario is the one that has always been on. My very first N64 game was super mario 64, and i learned to game with super mario bros. 1.. SO this is a musthave for me.
