Cluster size won't affect whether the game works or not. All it does is affect the loading times for games, but the change is minimal at best. That being said, most recommend 64k.

Second time asking: My SD is 32kb cluster size, should i make it to 64kb?
Well put it this way my sd card was set to 32kb and super mario 3d world took 10 mins to load to title screen then each level took about 4 mins to load set sd card to 64 kb and it now loads to title screen in 40 seconds and each level takes 7 seconds to load. Ignore what Robins says above as with super Mario 3d world 64kb makes a huge difference. Most other games you won't notice a difference with though.

Usually, that has to do with your specific card. Your experiences won't mirror others, and vice versa, which is why I usually don't recommend my settings for others.

And what I said is true, the cluster size won't make a difference since his game won't work anyways.

Well... Super Mario 3D World via loadiine is already notoriously atrocious for its long wait times and it's been that way for awhile.

@Paiuand @Marko76 @Robins
I remember reading something about 64k causing issues with some games, but I don't remember what they said, however I searched for it and found this page in the Loadiine thread that might shed some light on it: https://gbatemp.net/threads/loadiine-gx2.413823/page-65#post-6116146
tl;dr some people had issues with loading games with 64KB cluster size on recentish Loadiine builds, seems to be a Loadiine problem. Not everyone experiences the issue though, so if 64KB cluster size is working for you, no reason to change it. I was having issues with a couple games which is why I changed to 32KB, but it made no difference for me, so my issue must be something else.

Well, i dont know what to say.
I will try changing the cluster size but as Robins said, it just looks like the game just doesnt work.
But idk im still gonna download the PAL version, i mean its worth a shot.
But except for that, is there anything i can do or will it never work?

You can try to download the latest update for the game if there is one and see if it works better with the update. The update should be downloaded with JNUSTool or New NUSGrabber GUI or a similar tool and the code, content and meta folders placed inside SD:\wiiu\games\xxxxxx\updates\vXX. Replace xxxxxx with the game folder of course, and vXX should be the update version as according to the tool you used.
It looks like there is no update available for Super Mario 3D World however, but I'll post this anyway in case someone has a use for it.

Ehm, no there is no update

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So nothing to do except try other versions?

Buy the game.
I'm on the same boat, having issues with Mario Party 10 (Amiibo Party still not working even after I followed the instructions on the compatibility list to get it working...) and Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, which just doesn't save, every time I open it up my save is gone. Still haven't found a solution to the problems and it seems to work fine for other people, but Captain Toad is actually fun enough that I might consider buying it, I'm not buying another Mario Party game after they completely fucked up the series though.
Super Mario 3D World is worth buying though, it's one of the few great games on the Wii U (it's a lot better than 3D Land to say the least), so if you're pirating everything else you can at least buy that one game ;)

I don't know why they did that! I hate the new mario party. What's with the single vehicle that everyone rides in? We play Wii U party which is the best party game on wii u imho

That's why I want Amiibo Party to work so badly. It's the closest thing to the classic Mario Party games, where every character is controlled individually and you actually buy stars, not collect ministars which you will end up losing within a few rounds due to the damn minus ztars (or whatever they're called)

The newer Mario Party games aren't terrible, but they get boring after playing every stage once, because the stages are always exactly the same (there's only one path to follow, the stars and bosses are always in the same location, and it's too predictable)
I liked how unpredictable the older Mario Party games were since a well-timed item could change the entire game in your favor, and you never knew where the next star would end up so it was chaotic trying to beat other people to the star. Plus the ?-mark spaces which could be either good or bad. It might be partially nostalgia talking, but I still play Mario Party 5-7 sometimes, and even play 8 and DS occasionally, but I never play 9 or Island Tour. 10 I've only played once, so I'll probably play that a few more times before it gets boring.
I could rant about the new Mario Party style for hours, but I'll save that for another thread.

Mario 3d world is $20 nintendo selects, if all else fails just buy it it's worth it.
I agree. The game is well developed and very enjoyable. It has great replay value (trying to get everything with each character and all the stamps) and is a great single player as well as local multi-player game.

The only thing I'd change is to get rid of the timer and open up the boards a bit like Galaxy 1 and 2, 64 and sunshine. More enjoyable when you can explore a bit without the pressure of the timer.

Paiuand, I got mine working, and it was very simple!

Robins was correct about the hidden Mac files being a problem for Mario 3D World.

I did NOT need to format my card or use 64kb clusters.

All I did was run a very simple Mac Terminal command, which scans your chosen drive/folder, and removes all of the hidden Mac 'dot' files.

The structure of the terminal command is as follows:

dot_clean "/Volumes/<your-volume-name>"

In my case, my SD card was called 'GAMES'.

So, in Mac OSX, I opened Terminal, and entered the following (including the ""):

dot_clean "/Volumes/GAMES"

SAFETY NOTE: Do not run this command on your Mac installation/HDD drive! Only run it on USB drives.

It took a minute or so and when finished, Mario 3D world loaded in about 30 seconds first try.

Hope it works for you. Note that mine was and EUR downolad, and I didn't have to rename any files. You may have to with your USA download.

Will try Mario Kart next...

Edit: Success, Mario Kart also works! Loading times for both are super fast. Very happy to have found a solution. Mac users take note!
