I used rudolph's gba ripping tool to rip both my gameboy advance games and saves. the games all work, but none of the saves do. the saves are named the exact same thing as the gba roms. gba exploder, also, won't recognize the saves. do I need to convert these or did I do something wrong? thanks

I had the same problem when i first got it.
make sure the .gba and the .sav have the same name.
i.e.
Pokemon.gba
Pokemon.sav
and put the .gba in the gamepak folder
and put the .sav in the gamerts folder

thanks a bunch guys! I had all of the saves and gba roms in the same folder--gamepak. putting the saves in the gamerts folder worked perfectly. :-)

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
