ROM Hack Sunshine Island rom alteration

The english version of sunshine island had the wifi feature completely removed amongst other thing.

Would it be possible to go to the japanese rom, unpack it and replace all the japanese text with the one from english rom in the same manner of undubbing to participate in the japanese wi-fi rankings?

I guess it depends on how the two games store their text, images and other things.

But, the WiFi menus probably wouldn't be translated even if you did the repacking ~ because if they removed it, there was no need to translate it.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

    Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
