No, only .3dsx homebrew format.
.3ds files are roms and you can not load this with homebrew launcher.

Edit: Ninja'd :ph34r:

.3DS can you load with a Gateway card or a sky thingy for 3ds but that is a lot of money

Here:
.3dsx = Homebrew
.3ds = Gateway/Sky
.cia = CFW (Luma3DS)
.smdh = Icon Pack for Homebrew
.nds = NDS Roms for TWLoader (needs CFW to run)

Na sometimes it's better to wait for a stable Exploit from 11.2 to don't end up bricking ^^
(Bluescreen of Death O.o)

Well seeing how sysDowngrader was eliminated it's a lot safer to install A9LH. The only way to brick that I know of is if you put you system to sleep while on 2.1.0 firmware and of course user error.

Looks like Fasthax is still in Alpha :O

This is an alpha release. Consider it a PoC that the bug is exploitable, nothing more. It's not ready to be used by the public, and it's not integrated with any user-friendly tools. Also, this won't let you downgrade or anything requiring ARM9 access without another bug. This just gives access to all SVCs on ARM11.
