Sorry for this retarded question this is probably asked 1 billion time's but i didn't follow the switch scene for a while.

What if i use a Custom firmware like SX OS offline and play some backups on it. Then when im done playing and i want to go online i insert my second sd card which is just a legit card without any custom firmware stuff on it just some legit game's and i boot in to the official OS.
Can i play online without getting in any trouble?
Or are there still left overs that Nintendo might be able to detect?

Thank you.

We don't know yet if this is safe or not. Maybe there are some logs on the console, which are saved in the consoles internal storage rather than on the sd card. There's the risk that this logs will be sent to Nintendo if you go online.

Thanks for the reply.
I guess i will wait then and see what happens to other people's switches.

It doesn't matter what sdcsrd you use. It's still the same console that was compromised. They will ban your account and console, not your sdcard.

Also, Big N can not ban you for the content on your SD-card. They have no way of knowing it has been used or not. One person would have to appeal, and all these types of bans would have to be undone. But on note, you can't trust a patched OS to be this secure. You need emu-Nand for the added caution.
