Interesting, but not really surprising. Habits and personality traits tend to reflect on all aspects of our daily lives, social networking included. It's just another part of life, so you tend to act the same way you would elsewhere.

Odd, but good to know I am a good person. =) I tend to be more of a dick in real life, and a very nice guy on the net. But hey, maybe I just socialize differently. I don't have a Facebook page(I have one, but don't use it), but I would guess this site counts.

The conclusion isn't too much of a shocker, though I find it kind of funny that researchers felt there was enough uncertainty surrounding this topic to warrant a study like this.

@[member='Gahars'] some researchers will study anything just to be getting research funding. I've seen studies on matters as stupid as "Why do people like weekends?"
