Street Fighter V PC Update installs rootkit

    A recent update for Street Fighter V PC version asked for OS-level permission supposedly for anti-cheat and anti-crack purposes. Users did some investigating and found that it installed a kernel-level access driver called Capcom.sys.

    As of Friday, Capcom has rolled back the update but the driver still needs to be manually removed for some users.

    Good thing I don't support the new Capcom or their games, and this here is all the more reason not to. Smooth move there, Crapcom. :lol::rolleyes:
