I remember seeing it some time ago...
I think in combination with usendmii or something similar
I remember it had a big delay, but I still would like to try it out, but for crying out loud I just can't find the thread -.-
sry but if anyone could provide silly little me with a link, I would very much appreciate it
oh and I am talking about live streaming of the pc screen to the wiiu via browser, not about normal video streaming alá plex media server, for example

so I did some thinking and remembered it had something to do with vlc desktop streaming, so I'm gonna try that ^^

Dolphin team was rumored to have a way to use the gamepad with emulation on PC. Forgot where I saw this though. Easy enough to ixquick or startpage.com it. I would send a PM on it but might get reported for a PM, lol.

The lowest you can get the native video format delay down to for streaming is about 7-9 seconds at a completely unusable resolution. It's not possible to use the native video formats for streaming (in a useful manner, anyway). My GamePad2PC (video above) streaming solution is much more usable, but not released publicly yet. The program itself is available publicly, but the screencasting function is not out yet. Follow me on YouTube if you're interested in future updates.

well for what I'm using it, I don't care for a delay, so that's okay
and your streaming videos have been on youtube for months, I know... but as long as you don't release it, I will keep using this

Hate to bump an old thread, but I've seen rumblings of this kind of functionality for years, but I've not actually seen anything released, unless I'm just missing it. Is it possible that there is a method of streaming your PC screen onto the Wii U gamepad, while also assigning buttons on the Wii U gamepad as keyboard/mouse commands. I see USendMii takes care of the using your Wii U gamepad with your PC, I was actually using it with Pokemon Uranium and it works great, but it would be even cooler if I could be playing Uranium on the actual Gamepad, and then have some TV show or movie or whatever on the TV. I know people made some headway on such an idea, but is anyone aware of any actual release that can do this?

libdrc is all I can find that does what you ask. It literally works by making your PC (Linux only) impersonate a Wii U, and fool the GamePad into connecting with it. It then broadcasts data to the GamePad. There was a demonstration video of a modified version of Dolphin using libdrc to connect to the GamePad.
