Hi there i have some strange problem with my internet connection!!
I have main router that my Nintendo switch connects with it fine, and i have a access point (secondary router in my room) connected from my main router, my Nintendo switch refuses to connect to this one!!
The wird thing is my Nintendo switch lite connected to the secondary one and refuses to connect to the main one!!!
What is the problem!? Thanks in advance

Wifi has various authentication methods and Wifi types.
Officially the Switch supports these settings :
  • Wireless Frequencies: 2.4 GHz, 5 Ghz
  • Wireless Modes: 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11ac
  • Wireless Security Modes: WEP, WPA-PSK(AES), WPA2-PSK (AES)

In theory the Switch should be able to connect to both 2.4 and 5Ghz but a lot of people report bad connections with 2.4 Ghz wifi on the old Switch.
Sometimes it's the accesspoints themselves.
A lot of people use 2.4 Ghz wifi routers and this can saturate the frequency, making it difficult to connect.
And Nintendo made some improvements on the Lite so you might experience some differences between the original and lite model.
Last but not least : some wifi accesspoint need your approval to allow access of the devices to it. Maybe check if your accesspoint has such a feaure enabled.
