So, I have a patched unit and I wont be able to play it until it gets hacked. Any ideas to keep it good after months or even years of not playing it? Thanks

Why not refuse to connect it to the internet, and just play a few games on it? Just to keep the battery alive by charging and using it every once in a while. I don't know if that's something you'd need to do, but it wouldn't hurt, would it?

Other than that, maybe just store it and change the battery once you are able to use it (if the battery has gone bad).

Charge the battery up to 60% and turn the console completely off. Every 6 months to a year, power it on to check the battery and charge it up again to 60%, the goal being to keep it within 10% of 50%. That will keep the battery in the best condition possible as around the 50% mark is where the battery is in equilibrium.
The JoyCons will discharge quickly though unless you open them and disconnect the battery.

You're probably selling it for too much money then. A used Switch that's patched isn't worth $300, for example.
I've been selling it for 12,000php around 230USD. Its not used though.

Put it in the fridge?
Yep, can't afford for bacteria to grow in it.

Thanks!

And why in the first place you got a patched unit? Didn't you see the post regarding patched units?

discharge/charge to 50%
put it back into the box and put a bunch of dessicant/anti wetness/silica gel
put the box into somewhere safe, dry, away from direct sunlight

keep it as clean and legit switch for online play and buy a unpatched switch for playing with homebrew stuff.
