Is there anything i can buy that will stop finger prints from shining all over the top screen? The slightest touch of it and it really shows.

Why are you touching the top screen at all...?

I'm not meaning too, when i'm opening the ds i may accidentally touch it and all of a sudden it's finger prints galore. It's mainly the black side parts around the screen where the speakers are though.

Open it by the edge and don't touch the screen. It's pretty simple. I can post an instructional video if you like.

My kids can't seem to keep their fingers off of either screen. I am constantly cleaning both, I keep a cleaning cloth in my case.

Hori (or other brands) makes some anti-fingerprints screen protectors, more expensive than the usual ones, obviously quality has a price... may be a solution.

Chop their hands off and they can't leave fingerprints on the top screen then.

    Wait...

I just keep a cleaning cloth around, and wipe down the screen when I can't stand the fingerprints any more.

Yeah that's a bit too much...
chopping the fingertips should be enough.

No but really I have microfiber cloths that I use like once a week to wipe prints and dust off but it's something that doesn't really get in the way, If you want it to stay clean longer you should consider TwinRetros instructional video and start practicing.

Actual pro-tip - Belkin, Zagg, and presumably many other companies make anti-smudge/anti-fingerprint screen protectors. Belkin makes universal (cut to fit) ones, I'm not sure if Zagg does, but that might be worth looking into. I'm sure it doesn't work 100%, but it's likely better than ones without that coating.

Play with the lights out (serious), you get better picture quality and you can't see fingerprints.
Hey, it works for watching movies, why not games?

Burn off fingerprints, when they grow back, burn them off again?
