I have more than a handful of Atari 2600 ROMs (including many modern homebrew {if it can handle them}) I would like to play on the DS, how would I use them. I looked at Chuckster's homepage for Stella DS and he said you had to recompile it from source for a new ROM. Am I understanding this correct, that if I don't want to use his selection of ROM files I have to pack it for each and every ROM I want to play, or can I compile a whole folder of ROMs?

Thanks for any and all replies. I didn't find any in depth info on Stella DS through the search function.

Vato.....

Thanks. Have you tried any of the newer homebrew? Like Stratogems or Jammed?

Once again thanks for the response.

El

I got StellaDS to work with my ROMs (*.bin they were always bins I just have a bad habit of calling them ROMs), I just need to trim my file names so it is easier to navigate the list.

Thanks for your input.

No, I haven't. But I'm sure to now,
I love checking out new (to me) homebrew on the DS.=)

edit: glad you got it running. Atari2600 was the first system I ever had, and being able to replay the ancient classics on the portable DS is a blast
