Hi! Now that Steam big picture has been released, I tried to use it with my Ps3 controller and it worked.., on the menu, but not at the games...! Is it not suppose to work with the games, or is it only on the menu?

Controller support on most PC games is only for Xbox 360 controllers or controllers built in a similar way.

So you should find a way to use the PS3 controller to emulate a 360 one or something like that. Motioninjoy seems to be a common thing a quick google search shows.

Motioninjoy is indeed the best option as far as PS3 controllers on the PC goes. It allows you to emulate a 360 controller which almost all newer PC games support if they're built with controller support in mind.

Yup. Most games only support the Xbox 360 controller, so if you can get your PC to think you have one (by using Motioninjoy for example) pretty much all games that have controller support will work. Keep in mind that not all games support the controller in the first place, though.

There's also programs like JoyToKey that map joypad button presses to key presses, essentially making your computer pretend that your controller is a keyboard.

You probably already seen it, but there are loads of (super) games -75% on Steam at the moment, that are very controller-friendly.
You can find them all here.

I'll second Joy2Key, works wonders for any non-gamepad game.
