Gaming Steal Princess Hype Thread

Full disclosure: I currently have Steal Princess set as my desktop wallpaper. I have never been this hyped for a DS release before.

I know full well that I might be setting myself up for ultimate disappointment, but who else will be checking out this game when it's finally released?

The website still lists May 19th as the release date, anyone see it on shelves yet? It's being shipped by Amazon I believe.

Anyone know if Steal Princess got pushed back? Or if it just didn't get dumped yet?

[eh] just found out it's an extremely limited release by Atlus. Many stores won't even get it (i.e. Gamestop). Might be waiting a while on this one, but hopefully some intrepid dumper ordered it from Amazon and will get it today.

There goes my thoughts on buying this one used if I like the gameplay.

But im hyped.... I'll play this before Starfy swims to the US shores.

The Japanese one was average. Mostly due to control issues as you get later into the game. I'm expecting most people to either be disappointed, or play the first 5 levels, declare how awesome it is on here, and then move on to the next rom they find.

One of the games I was most looking forward to trying when I first got my DS was Rise of the Mushroom Men and it turned out that I quit that due to poor control before the end of the first level.

So if I only get 5 levels of fun plus the level editor to play around with, plus wacky Japanese anime goodness, I'll be happy.

Totally forgot about this one coming out. I just did a google and noticed it was made by the same company that made Landstalker! Can't wait to try this one out. I figure if anyone can do isometric right, it will be Climax.

I had some hype for it, being a general Atlus fan, but it's made by the people that did Landstalker? I LOVED LANDSTALKER. I was playing it before I even got into Kindergarten. Now I really want to try this...

Ironic that the 2 games I've been waiting for... make me wait even longer. I hope it won't take a whole lot longer for this game. The other game I've been waiting for is Black Sigil...

Black Sigil was delayed until June 7th.

I remember the wait for Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ and Animal Boxing (both from the same company). It was literally almost a month each.

But with Atlus, things are usually as quick as possible given their shipping habits and limited quantities.

Shin Megami is currently scheduled for June 23rd as is Overlord Minions (that's going to be a fun week barring any delays).

CORE last I heard has been delayed until June 16th. So, once again, barring any delays, the end of June is going to be a great time to be a DS fan.

Every video I see of this game reminds me of Scurge: Hive That game has its issues, too, but if you could get into the groove of its world and controls there were treasures untold to unlock.

Can't wait to play this game.
