i know from my other wii with preloader (cant install bootmii in boot2) there is another hack for the healthscreen, with the hack from preloader the healthscreen dont shows up

You could always use Waninkoko' savegame manager. That circumvents save copy protection.

how do i uninstall preloader 0.29 and install this please? seems like startpatch is the better app

recently updated to 4.0 and bootmii is installed as boot2

I'm having an issue with installing this. I copied the whole folder into Apps and renamed the dol file to "boot.dol" but when loading it, it comes up right away with an error "-1947" and restarts the Wii.

I'm using SM4.0U and the 4.0.3 USA version of Start Patch. Can anyone provide assistance?

EDIT: I'm using BootMii - boot2, if that's relevant.

I have four imported original games (Biohazard Zero JPN, Disaster PAL, Monster Hunter G JPN and Monster Hunter 3 tri Demo JPN) and I play imported games by means of the app called GeckoOS 1.9.1 (this is good app, but i preferrer the "Menu Loader" or StartPatch like).
Help me how to work the StartPatch on my Wii 4.0U, plz!!!

PS: i haven't preloader on my Wii, okay.

Updated today from 3.2 to 4.0 and from StarFall to StartPatch and works perfectly

Oh and if I may suggest:
- remove copy protection from saves (was already mentioned some times anyway)
- replace health screen with backmenu (I'm missing this from StarFall

)

The new version works better for me than previous versions (I think everything works except for the region free channels from SD). Using the NTSC USA version.

The skip health check patch is different from the preloader's 0.29 one. Preloader totally skips the screen, but startpatch shows the screen for 1 sec before auto skipping it..

btw, thanks for the wonderful program

I wonder if directly patching the file and turning off hacks in preloader saves memory???
And does the recovery menu with NGC Y button (with remove diag disc check) allow booting off a WAD manager autoboot disc in event of banner brick?
If it does then I guess this program can replace preloader since it offers banner brick protection too!!

I have finish upload of a video shows the error of StartPatch 4.0 (yes... i take the version 4.0 too, but i have the version 4.0.3. Both happens the same thing. After i will post with video here, ok.

Dude, the Preloader doesn't work on my Wii. Appears a error and doesn't install. Some users told me that Preloader is very bugged and some users couldn't install either.

my system is 4.0J, install the cioscropV2

then use StartPatcher4.0.3 for NTSC JAP patch all features...

but my Wii still can't id the USA or ERU game disc... only JAP's wii or ngc disc

Same problem ! I have Preloader installed with ios 36 chosen in settings, 4.0E from Waninkoko's upgrader.
I'd like to use the region free channels hack for channels which are on the SD card. Same problem if i change ios to 249 with Preloader.
