Hacking Starting from Scratch

I got an R4 several years ago and have used it for years. Last year it stopped working so I gave up on it. I was never able to get it to work again after I messed with the files.

I have the disc that it came with. The R4 is R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) and the disc says the same and says hte site http://www.r4ds.com

I have searched walkthroughs, videos, downloaded and installed the software from online, transferred from my disc, and the result is always the same: Loading...

Can anyone give me a thorough walkthrough?

Your R4 may actually be a clone that pretends to be an original even more than those other R4 clones. Have you tried using Wood R4? And what was the firmware you had before?

Also, NEVER use the install disc. The discs always have outdated firmware, and not even a good firmware at that.

Did the R4 USED to support the 4gig cards? Because that's the one I used to use. I tried wood on it and it did not work either. I switched to a 2 gig and it worked, so that was my problem. I swear I used to use the 4 gig on a regular basis.

No the R4 NEVER supported or will support SDHC (4GB and larger cards).
