If I ever make a total redo of the menu, I might consider porting CEGUI (http://www.cegui.org.uk/) to the DS. It's a bit overkill, but that might not be a bad thing for an entirely GUI driven app like the menu.
Nice. But I think that can be a general DS homebrew app instead of AK exclusive. That GUI looks too good to be just for one flash cart.

I was thinking the exact same thing! However, I should probably start the SF project if I get to doing this, because otherwise I feel dirty using Acekard's SVN for something that helps competitors

. However, I think it will be most useful on the Acekard, because it won't have commercial loading abilities on them for a while (if ever), if my theory about the Acekard turns out to be true.

Intriguing. I like this theory of yours.

And maybe AceKard will just throw a large wad of cash at him, to keep it an exclusive

But it would depend on how much does AceKard really want that thing or not.

Someone one the AKRPG boards said normmatt is telling people it is possible to run GBA code from the AK using a hypervisor that his friend showed him a PoC to. What is this? I doubt normmatt took such a huge step to announce something like this.

GBA on ACEKARD RPG without expansion

Today I was surprised with a BIG news on front-page of GBATemp

Normmatt has a friend who making a way to run GBA using a method of a Hypervisor... ooooooh my God...

So, Acekard RPG has a opensource firmware... good...
Maybe this feature (GBA games using hypervisor method) included in firmware? He (Normmatt) says it's a big and exhausting work, but, Acekard may pay for him some money to do this( ) . Acekard RPG value gets bigger... every single dime of 85 australian dollars

so, is it really possible? Or just a "distant hope"?

Normmatt, what is going on?

I still believe that running GBA code is impossible from a slot 1 alone. Prove me wrong though, I would love it.
