ROM Hack StarFox Command (U) D-Pad hack

Yeah it's a sad truth that only a percentage of the people who use/enjoy things give feedback on it (opposed to many more times that number who would give negative feedback). Glad to see it's being enjoyed.

heres what u should do:
y: shoot
L: roll left
R: rol right

somersaults and bombs dont need buttons cuz there on touch screen

once again thanks for changing this game from a 7/10 to 10/10

Is it possible for you to do a V4 with what tall alien say?

Then the game will be perfect 10/10

Oh the patch give white screen for me cyclops ds evo, but the code does work. Anyway way to fix patch for cyclops (don't to use code cause sometime it give slowdown).

yeah make y/x be shoot, becuase: b=break, use y to shoot
a=boost, then use x to shoot

man i just wanna do is

pros:
you can now move while placing a bomb
you can play on bumpy rides etc.
you can play without stylus (if you lost it)
your hands/wrist may no longer feel sore after periods of time playing(in my case)
left handed people can still use stylus control

cons:
not that i care, but right handed people cant use stylus...and thats all (nothing offensive at all)

I'll throw in my opinion that the suggested control scheme is preferrable. That's the way I would have configured it if they had given us the option, anyway (Y to fire, L/R to roll, B to boost)

Sounds really cool though, this is one of the more unfortunate victims of developers employing touch screen controls in games where buttons are superior. Thanks for improving this game.

Not sure if I already posted or not, but great job!, Could u please adda button for barrel rolls? cuz I do that a lot, and I need to use stylus otherwise, even if u cant, thx anyway. Its ppl like u that make it worth pirating, giving us awesome patches that we couldnt use( or it would be hard) on normal cartridges

idk, but theres a problem with braking and boosting with touch screen. i dont care, but when you try to, it will make an irriating sound and wont boost.

I think hes working on the barrel roll mapping and mapping shoot to x and y

you can already shoot with x and y, so i guess all he has left to do is barrel rolling

Thanks for this cracker. It's awesome. I always wondered why the game didn't include an option to use the d-pad and buttons in the first place.
I did notice a couple of things I thought needed mentioning. The brake and boost functions on the touchscreen make a horrible noise. And it seems as though steering is a little slow and unresponsive. Also, A and B as accelerate and brake feel too far apart.

I thought a setup like this would be great:
X= fire (or bomb)
Y= accelerate
A= brake
B= bomb (or fire)
L/R= Tilt left and right. Double tap to roll

That button configuration and more responsive steering and this hack would be perfect IMO

. The game would play almost exactly like starfox 64. What do you think?
