Star Wars: The Old Republic, the eagerly anticipated Star Wars MMORPG, will be launched Tuesday, 20th December 2011 in North America and 22nd December in Europe.

Developed by BioWare Austin and BioWare Edmonton, Star Wars: The Old Republic was first announced on October 21, 2008.

I like monthly fee's on mmo's, and believe it or not, its very expensive to host servers, esp ones that will have millions of players.

Well that was unexpected; I was anticipating this game launching sometime in 2012.

With so many MMOs going free to play as WOW's dominance has begun to slip, it'll be interesting to see how TOR fares.

Why do people always use wow as an example? Their are and have been other MMOs at and even past the 7 year mark. Besides wow is filled with rude little bastards under the age of 15, just little FPS are. Hopefully these assholes stay away from the old republic.
