Is it possible to have melonDS boot straight to the dsi menu and have all my games listed on the menu, similar to twilightmenu on 3ds?

Also, alternatively, from my understanding game forwarders for standalone emulators outside of retroarch are not supported right now but is there any workaround for that?

Yes. melonDS supports DSi emulation.
i know it supports dsi emulation but the only way i can get to the dsi menu is by either booting a game from the melonDS menu which loads the specific game in the cartridge slot on the homescreen, or by pressing boot firmware on the melonDS menu, which boots the dsi firmware with no cartridge inserted. What I’m looking for is a way to 1. boot straight into the dsi menu when i open the melonDS.nro rather than the melonDS menu and 2. have all of my roms listed as software on the dsi menu the way that twilightmenu has it on 3DS rather than 1 game at a time in the cartridge slot.
