Hi, I'd just like to know if anyone else have this issue.
When using the Official USB Gamecube adapter for Nintendo Wii U on your Switch
Port 2 does not work as intended. It presses Down all the time.

Tested with 6 Different Original Gamecube controllers.
Also tried to use a Thrid-party USB Gamecube adapter and the same issue occurs only for Port 2.

Tested them both on Wii U With Smash 4.
And they work fine.

Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Smash Bros Ultimate is V 1.0

Thanks!

I use the GC adaptor, that I got back when smash bros wiiu was released. works great with all my GC / Wavebird controllers.

I use both of the USB Ports on the left side of the dock.

Same as me then, but you do not have the same issue.
Weird, does anyone else have this issue?

It's not the dock itself either as I've also tried one of the many USB C adapters available online together with a USB 3 HUB and that gives me the same results.

I have the same issue but only with port 4. Can you explain how you solved this? I don't understand your previous comment.

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one suffering from this! I brought my Switch to college to play with my friends but I couldn't fix the drifting on the controllers and for some reason, it happened on specific ports. I couldn't test restarting the console to fix it because mine has AutoRCM and I didn't have a device to send payloads at the time but rebooting the Switch fixed the issue. This happened to me one other time and both times I left the console on overnight so I think that may have contributed to the problem.

i got it to work after i connected to pc and installed a driver and tested with dolphin then used it on switch

1. Unplug USB Adapter
2. Shutdown your Switch
3. Plugin USB Adapter with the cables opposite of what you had them plugged in as before.
4. Plugin your Gamecube controller into Port 4 in your case.
5. Start your Switch

Thanks, very weird fix though lol. Glad it's a software issue after all
