Should ProjectM Full Set and Wifi-Safe versions share same GameID or have different GameIDs?

I'm building my wbfs with Project M and a Brawl wbfs that works fine. I followed the installer and the end wbfs works fine in Dolphin. When I open the file with ocarina on in configurable USB loader the game crashes at stage select screen. I haven't been able to try USB Loader GX because upon trying to get the app to read my NTFS hdd the app doesn't work (it comes up with ios -222 at the code dump screen during its startup but previously worked fine). Any idea what's the issue?

Try setting your hooktype to AXNextFrame. Usually a crash at the CSS means you need to change the hooktype.

I changed hooktype to AXNextFrame and it still crashes at character select. I might try redoing the wbfs building, but any other ideas?

EDIT: Actually on second thoughts, since it works fine on Dolphin if I recompiled the wbfs the same thing would still probably happen on my Wii...

sorry for asking, but i have been away from the scene for a very long time and i started looking into the project m mods yesterday... i found the very nice brawl 4 all mod, but i can't load it as my drive broke down a couple months ago and i have a PAL wii which is not supported yet, so i wanted to make a iso for brawl 4 all but for some reason it keeps hanging on load... now i know that i can load the mod by putting it onto sd and loading the us version iso on usb loader, but am limited then to only one mod at a time...

so can anybody please help me out and explain how to do this cause i am guessing i am doing something wrong while building the iso... (the brawl frozen mod had similar issues when i made a iso...)

it is necessary to iso with executable as shown in the tutorial and you take the folder projectM download sample 3.5 and you copy the projectM and you launch your executable it will ask you for the language version format and save a dump on projectM

Hmm.. I tried to insert a custom banner for my Project M 3.5 ISO, downloading multiple custom banners that people have made, but none of them have worked.. any idea what's going on?

Has anyone else tried getting custom banners to work? I've renamed a custom banner to RSBEPM.bnr and it does get acknowledged in the batch process and says it has been copied but whenever I go to USB Loader GX, it still shows the vanilla brawl banner. Also the option to download custom banners don't work for me so my only option is that I -have- to find my own, but every banner that I have found still doesn't replace the vanilla brawl banner.

The Batch file does say it "checks the .bnr file for a corruption 0 byte bug 404 get error" but it doesn't find a 0 byte bug which means the .bnr file is indeed valid.
(^ This is probably a safety measure incase the .bnr file for the option of Downloading a Custom Banner through the batch process fails to download)
After it validates my .bnr file it shows the (1 file copied.) message which gives me the idea that my .bnr file HAS been copied and it SHOULD show up but.. it doesn't!

I mean it's no big deal to me, I don't really mind the vanilla brawl banner but it would be really nice to have a Project M Banner for my PM iso for when it shows up on USB Loader GX right next to my Original Brawl ISO, but instead it shows that I have two "Brawls" when one of them is actually PM. lol

tl;dr How can I get custom banners to appear on my ISO through USB Loader GX? ISO Builder appears to replace my banner but doesn't actually do it.

seems the frozen mod is because it is not project m but the brawl 4 all is project m... now what i wonder... i tried copying the project m to the folder of the iso maker and then overwrite all files from the brawl 4 all zip (which seemed logical as that is what is used when you load it from sd card...) but is it better to do it vice versa? (copying the brawl 4 all data and then overwrite with project m 3.5?

are there other issues that can cause the iso to freeze on load?

ps: on dolphin it loaded to the start screen, and then it crashed....

Well, since it's BrawlEx it's a pain to do...

Well I created the ISO and got a black screen after seeing Project M. D:

Finally got to the character select screen and some characters were missing and game crashed.

Hi guys need some help here, i want to build a Smash Frozen ISO or wbfs. Should i use this program to build it? or using a 2gb SDCard with the files and running Brawl from USBLoaderGX works?

If you can't get an ISO or WBFS to work properly just use an SD card with a GCT code, it's a tad of a confusing process if you don't know how to set it up, if you need help PM me, I used to use ProjectM on USB with usb loader GX for ProjectM Wifi, So that I could have PM full as wbfs and wifi on sd

hi, having an issue using this with 3.5.
It's probably me doing something wrong, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Having an issue trying to create the Patt version or vanilla 3.5 version.
Keep coming up with error #27 - Can't create directory.
Trying to create an iso or wbfs ends up with the same message.
the resulting Patt wbfs freezes when selecting characters and thats as far as I got. Although, it comes up and says Project Melee v3.0, instead of 3.5. Same splash screen with the vanilla 3.5 iso too.

MD5 of my homebrew.zip is: 76A8C7ABC422EB141C9B40D8DF14B0E7
MD5 of my PMPE 3.5-01.zip is: 88D4AB6415F6FC9C2A53D881C0E8735D

Seems like a permissions error see if administrator has permissions to the folder

Well, P:M 3.6 Beta was just released--is someone willing to make an updated .bat file? I could try, but I don't have a lot of confidence, so it might be better if Gortesk is willing to do it--but I know it's not always convenient for people to do this, so I might have a go.

OK, I'll wait for that, then. I tried editing it myself, but it only got to the strap screen before crashing, so I clearly did something wrong.
