Hacking SSBB can't work!

I've read a couple threads regarding SSBB's problems
so i've avoided it, but now i've nothing else to do so i got the game

I used USB Loader GX, but i get a "Disk read error" after beating classic (cIOS rev 14)

now after playing again and beating classic, i get a black screen (cIOS rev 13)

help!

Just keep rev14 and use Hermes cIOS 37 merged with 36.

Aargh, wait... it still doesnt work

okay here goes... I've installed Heremes (Via ios 222, then merge 36 37)
then i load usb loader gx, then i change the settings to IOS 222...

But still doesnt work!

He's using a USB Loader so I would doubt that it's his DVD.

If you've done what you're supposed to with Hermes' cIOS there is no reason for it not to work. Are you sure that you have a good rip of the game?


And why are there two threads on the first page of the forum on asking the same thing about rev 14 and SSBB, again?

Okay user above, what EXACTLY did you do?

cause i still get the blank screen / disk read error after beating kirby or beating classic....
