Great announcement today, very much look forward to these 2 games, although I was heavily hoping for a remake of FF6 via FF3 work done for the DS. But these 2 will settle me, just gotta play FF6 on emu on the psp:

The Final Fantasy Tactics announcement awhile back is a welcome addition too. Bout time psp got some rpgs.

Hah that's rich. Square is shoveling a GBA game of all things onto the PSP, and much worse, the 2 pack is being put into 2 seperate titles for more $.

I'm hopin what they say in the previews is true, that the graphics will be revamped in some ways (completely cleaned up for the psp). This is exciting to me since I haven't played 1 and 2 yet and those are probably on my list of games that I have to finish. Who knows what kind of extras squre is planning to do for these 2 games, should be awesome either way. According to Square it's not going to be a simple rehash but a completely revamped game....just not a total overhaul like ff3.

The crazily convoluted mess that is Square-Enix spawns a few new ports. Anything new? Hmm...

The GBA-port wasn't that bad, even though sound was largely inferior.

I've already beaten ff6 a couple times before, I'm just missing 1-2 and 6 right now.....and turbo mode is a wecome edition in the emu for leveling heh.
