I had the lowest expectations ever and still feel let down lol.
No problem with the game (won't play it) but the reveal was ridiculous.

Yeah, this isn't the first time we've been screwed over like this by Square Enix. But seriously, they hyped up a reveal of a F2P, microtransaction-filled Spelunky? At least it's not as bad as the new Final Fantasy 7 (mini-)game, like they revealed a few months ago.

I know they didn't come out and really hype the game up, but having a countdown and such constitutes as hype in my eyes. Very wtf.

now that you mention it... There was that one TWEWY countdown where people were hyped for a sequel just to be disappointed by the announcement of an IOS port.

yes i remember....
there's been a few others aswell but never turned out to be anything good

they didnt do anything like this for ff0, tomb raider, sleeping dogs or anything thats good or looks good etc...

After Bravely Default I really hoped they'd got their mojo back (without a doubt their best game since TWEWY), but I guess it was just another random blip in their downward trajectory.
