Has this guide allowed you to successfully install Octohax?

  • Yes

  • No (If you choose this, please post errors, your process, etc.)

Results are only viewable after voting.
For the most success, I'd do both, and if that fails, I'd try with only one being wired. (That being either the computer or the WiiU. Try either or.)
Will do! It's my last hope it seems, as I tried port forwarding and still had no success. Thanks for all the help!

Sorry for the double post, but is there an updated version of Splathax for 2.12.0? I tried to edit some gear to test if it worked using the 07-07-16 build (which I think is the latest) and I got some weird kind of error that closed Splathax.

EDIT: Never mind, a reboot fixed it. Wonder why that happened.

Welcome to the re-written Splatoon Modding Hub - Reloaded! Here, you'll find many different mods that you can use with Splatoon.

Important Notices!
  • Private Battle is no different than any other online mode to Nintendo, and they will still ban you for detected hacks.
    • This does not mean GeckoMapTester is unsafe in Private Battle now. Everyone just needs to be synced up (as described in the instructions) and that is near impossible in public matches.
  • Do not edit Static.pack and go online. Nintendo could be doing integrity checking on this file.
Discord Server:
You should join our Discord server for important announcements, discussions, and help with mods!
(Read the rules in the #welcome channel before posting! Don't ask for or distribute weapon/teleportation/online-ruining hacks.)
https://discord.gg/QuxeA2q

Everything here should be safe as long as you follow the instructions and don't use these tools to make your stats invalid. Unless stated otherwise, everything here works on 2.11.0 and the current latest FW, 5.5.1. It is highly recommended that you start blocking FW updates from Nintendo!

All homebrew applications utilized by the tools listed here, such as TCPGecko and Cafiine, rely on a kernel exploit and only temporarily remain in your console's RAM. They are cleared from the RAM after powering off the console. This means you will need to re-install them after powering off to continue using the tools that rely on them.

Mods like level adjustment are not undone after powering off because the game saves the changes. Mods like Octohax are cleared after powering off.

Note: The All-in-One GUI contains all of the Gecko mods that were in the "Separate Hacks" section on the original Modding Hub with additional features.

Update: The AIO is now a GUI and as such is even easier to use! Available for both Windows and macOS!

Old versions of the AIO GUI included an option to change your gender to Octoling. DO NOT attempt to go online with this. You will be permanently banned! The latest version does not include this dangerous hack. The included Octohax is a client-side model replacement and is safe.

The AIO GUI, made by @seresaa, includes the following hacks and mods:
  • Safe Octohax (become an Octoling)
    • doesn't show up for other players
    • with/without broken octopus form
    • use at startup (when you see the squids floating up) for eyes
  • Rank/Snail/Level/Money Editing
    • progress flag adjustment
  • All Gear, Weapons, and Minigames
  • amiibohax (by @Leanny)
  • Sisterhax (by @Bkool999)
    • double Callie/Marie
    • sister swap
  • Player Controls
    • gender/eyes/skin
  • Single Player Editor
    • modify level save data (clear state, scrolls)
    • change upgrades
    • completely reset Octo Valley
  • TimerHax (by @Yahya14)
    • modify the timer in Dojo/Recon/Squid Challenges
Downloads: https://github.com/seresaa/Splat-AIO-2/releases

Before using the AIO GUI, you will need to find your Wii U's IP address and install TCPGecko. To find your Wii U's IP, use this tutorial.

Then, install TCPGecko by following these steps:
  1. Close any software and go to the HOME menu.
  2. Open up the Internet Browser and go to http://loadiine.ovh.
  3. Select "TCPGecko + Kernel", not "TCPGecko Installer". (If you are using the list view, select "TCPGecko + Kernel" from the dropdown box and click the "Submit" button.)
  4. The Internet Browser will start playing a video then crash. Open it up again and go back to http://loadiine.ovh.
  5. The Internet Browser will crash again. Go back to the Wii U menu and open up Splatoon.
After installing TCPGecko, follow these steps:
  1. Download SplatAIO.exe (SplatAIO_OSX.zip if you have a Mac) from the link above and run it.
  2. Make sure you're in Inkopolis Plaza in Splatoon.
  3. Enter your Wii U's IP address into the IP box and click Connect.
  4. Choose your hacks.
    • As mentioned above, old versions of the AIO GUI included an option to change your gender to Octoling. DO NOT attempt to go online with this. The latest version does not include this dangerous hack. The included Octohax is safe.
    • The AIO GUI will ask you to correct invalid stats if found. Even though bans are unlikely to occur from these, you really should correct them, just in case.
    • Progress flags are automatically adjusted as you change your stats. However, manual progress flag adjustment may be necessary if certain changes to your stats aren't appearing in-game.
  5. Go to the equip screen and back to the Plaza to see the changes.
Splatoon updates may break compatibility with mods in the AIO GUI. If the displayed Splatoon version doesn't match your Splatoon version, check to see if there's a new version of the AIO GUI available that is compatible.

Your Wii U's IP address may change in the future. If you get an error when you try to connect in the AIO GUI, your IP probably changed. You can find it again by re-doing the steps in this tutorial. Or, you can use a tool to find your IP such as Wireless Network Watcher. This is a much easier way to keep track of your IP.
The AIO, made by @seresaa, includes the following hacks and mods:
  • Safe Octohax (become an Octoling; with/without broken octopus form)
  • Rank/Snail/Level/Money Editing
    • Note: This older AIO doesn't set progress flags based on the new values. Instead, it sets the progress to max every time you make changes to your level/rank. This means you'll earn points as if you were Level 20+ even if you aren't Level 20+, and technically the value set is invalid. For changing stats (and other things), it's recommended to use the AIO GUI, which now also supports macOS.
  • All Gear, Weapons, and Minigames
  • Sisterhax (double Callie/Marie; from @Bkool999)
  • Colorizer (available separately)
  • Splathax (Windows-only, available separately)
  • amiibohax (Windows-only, available separately)
  • A few extras
Download and find out more information about the AIO here or here for additional programs.

Before using the AIO, you will need to find your Wii U's IP address and install TCPGecko.

  1. If you haven't already, install Python 2.7. Downloads are located here. You will want the "installer" download for whatever operating system you have.
  2. Download Splat-AIO.zip from the link above and extract all of the contents to an empty folder.
  3. Run Splat-AIO.py.
  4. Enter in your Wii U's IP address and press ENTER.
  5. Make sure you're in Inkopolis Plaza in Splatoon.
  6. On the main menu, pick an option and press ENTER. Your selected option will then be executed.
  7. Go to the equip screen and back to the Plaza to see the changes.
Updates are released for the AIO that fix bugs and add new features. You can check for updates in the options menu (v). Splatoon updates may break compatibility with mods in the AIO. If the displayed Splatoon version doesn't match your Splatoon version, you should update the AIO.

Your Wii U's IP address may change in the future. If, when you select an option in the AIO, it gets stuck on "Connecting to <IP>" and then crashes, your Wii U IP address probably changed. You can find it again by re-doing the steps in this tutorial. Or, if you're on Windows, you can use the "Scan for IP" option (i) in the AIO. This is a much easier way to keep track of your IP. After you've found your new IP, change the IP in the AIO from the options menu (v).

Warning: The use of GeckoMapTester can result in bans if used incorrectly. Completely read and follow the instructions provided.

GeckoMapTester is a utility by @aracom which allows you to use any map in Private Battle and Battle Dojo, including Octo Valley levels and the credits! To use GeckoMapTester, follow this guide (includes download) by @pepbrew.

Splatoon updates may break compatibility with this tool. Keep it up to date.

Note: Usually, programs made for loadiine.ovh TCPGecko also work with Geckiine, but this is one of the rare instances in which the offsets are different, so this utility will not work with Geckiine.

DojoHax is yet another utility made by @Leanny (aka Lean), which allows you to edit the Battle Dojo gear and weapons.

Before using DojoHax, you will need to find your Wii U's IP address and install TCPGecko. To find your Wii U's IP, use this tutorial.

Then, install TCPGecko by following these steps:
  1. Close any software and go to the HOME menu.
  2. Open up the Internet Browser and go to http://loadiine.ovh.

MusicRandomizer is a program by @OatmealDome which provides you an easy way to replace music tracks in the game with custom songs. For more information, look here.
OctoSFX is a mod by @Bkool999 which allows you to have the full Octoling experience. With normal Octohax, you would still have the normal Inkling Girl sound effects. However, with OctoSFX, you can replace them with the Octoling sound effects. For a tutorial on how to install it, click here.

Warning: Do not use this tool online! Nintendo can detect it.

ColorizerDotNet is a C# version of gudenau's original Colorizer created by @aracom and works on the latest version as of when this guide was written (August 29 / Splatoon 2.11). For more information, see here.

Before using ColorizerDotNet, you will need to find your Wii U's IP address and install TCPGecko.

  1. Download Colorizer from here.
  2. Run Colorizer.exe.
  3. Enter in your Wii U's IP address and click "Connect".
  4. Click "Get Color" to get the current colours from the Wii U.
Splatoon updates may break compatibility with the program.

Your Wii U's IP address may change in the future. If you get an error saying "Connection to the TCPGecko failed", your Wii U's IP address probably changed. You can find it again by re-doing the steps in this tutorial. Or, you can use a tool to find your IP such as Wireless Network Watcher. This is a much easier way to keep track of your IP. After you've found your new IP, change the IP in the script from the main menu.

Ban error codes:
  • 106-0306 - temporary Splatoon NNID ban, lose access to Splatoon online multiplayer temporarily on banned NNID
  • 106-0346 - permanent Splatoon NNID ban, lose access to Splatoon online multiplayer permanently on banned NNID
  • 102-2814 - permanent Splatoon ban, lose access to Splatoon online multiplayer permanently on the console
  • 102-2812 - permanent console ban, lose access to NNID services and online multiplayer permanently on the console
Thanks to:

what if I was banned on my other console with the ban code 102-2814 and I got a new one, can I still use my same account?

Well a 102-2814 is a Permanent Splatoon Online Ban, but it says you lose access on the console...
The ban could still be linked to your account, so I think making a new one on a new Wii U is the best way to go.

nothing happened to them.
The only purpose was just for experimenting what they looked like and stuff. CX
You couldn't use them online anyways :p

Is octoling with octoling squid safe online?
Just makin' sure.
It should be since its associated with Safe OctoHax.
Back on 2.10 when the old OctoHax Script I think ( not entirely sure ) the Tcpgecko code to enforce a certain aspect of the squid/octopus model was off so I guess the game put it back to the Squid Model, which is why it's an option now in the AIO I assume.

Also, the hacks I used (unlock all sunken scrolls, unlock 1 super sea snall, and octohax + octopus) I belive reset my online data, since I had to go through the online info, BUT my super zapfish is still there and I didn't have to see the news on it. Whats going on? Did I just accidentally press X (the online info button) or is my data reset?

Since I'm removed from the thread (thanks @aracom) there's a way to hack weapons that I'm just gonna repeat. If you feel like testing out a couple weapon hacks head on over to here.

Here's a quote of it if you're super lazy...

Doing this can and WILL get you banned, be careful.
You'll need a dump of your game for this.
You also need Cafiine as well as the required files.

Step 1: Find Static.pack (Should be in vol\content\Pack)

Step 2: Drag Static.pack to Weapon Hacking Guide\SARCTools

Step 3: Open CMD

Step 4: Type "Extract.py Static.pack"

Step 5: You should see this:
View attachment 60346

Step 6: Open the Parameter folder and edit whatever you like in notepad. The Weapons folder in the required files pack will tell you which weapon is which.

Step 7: Once you're done editing, go back to the SARCTools folder and open CMD again.

Step 8: Type "Pack.py Static" and wait for it to finish. It'll come out as a .sarc file, just rename it to .pack

Step 9: Add your modified Static.pack file to cafiine_root\00050000-10176900\vol\content\Pack

Step 10: Done! Run Cafiine as normal and your modified weapons will be in game.

Pre-modified Static.pack with:
Speedhack
Infinite ammo for all weapons
Adjusted Splatterscope FOV
Crazy Rapid Blaster
Instant-map-cover Splattershot Junior

Parameter Guide:
(Thanks to NWPlayer123)

mRepeatFrame - how many frames between each bullet. 1 frame = 60BPS (blobs per second)
mTripleShotSpan - balances out mRepeatFrame for L-3 and H-3 Nozzlenose. EG 4 frames and 8 span, shots at 0, 4, and 8.
mInitVel - pretty simple. Initial velocity for blobs.
mDegRandom - width of angle a blob can be shot from. 180 degrees means it can shoot anywhere from straight ahead to either side.
mDegJumpRandom - number of degrees a blob can go when jumping
mSplashSplitNum - how many ways a blob can split within mDeg(Jump)Random
mKnockback - also pretty simple, pushes you back with every blob fired
mInkConsume - amount of ink consumed per blob, out of 1.0
mInkRecoverStop - number of frames after you stop shooting until
mMoveSpeed - movement speed while "firing"(charging on chargers). Used for mobility purposes in shop stats.
mDamageMax - max damage dealt (when right next to an enemy)
mDamageMin - min damage dealt (when just barely reaching them)
mDamageMinFrame - Number of frames from when a blob is fired until the impact is at min damage.
mStraightFrame - Number of frames a blob goes straight before it starts falling to the ground.
mGuideCheckCollisionFrame - ???
mCreateSplashNum - When a bullet is shot it can drip down as it's flying to create splashes. In the case of the .96 Gal which is set at 4.0, you can clearly see 4 blob splats when you fire once.
mCreateSplashLength - The max distance a blob can go minus other factors (see: mInitVel)
mDrawRadius - Probably the draw radius for your weapon spray
mColRadius - Probably the collision radius for your weapon spray
mPaintNearDistance - distance ink can spray in front of you
mPaintFarDistance - distance ink can splash from where a blob/splat lands
mPaintNearRadius - degree ink can spray in front of you
mPaintFarRadius - degree ink can splash from where a blob/splat lands
mSplashDrawRadius - draw radius for blobs/splats
mSplashColRadius - collision radius for blobs/splats
mSplashPaintRadius - radius blobs/splats can paint from where they land - different from mPaintFarRadius ???
