I made a minimalist splash for a minimalist CFW.
Heh, I'm just not a big fan of anime. I don't even know that character.Nice but not enough Maki
CIAs are always slow. A faster SD card can help though.Good evening,
I have downloaded the latest release, but i experience slow install times with any cia (i use FBI, but tried other installers aswell).
updating to 10.3 didnt resolve my issue.
Any ideas?

that has absolutely nothing to do with Reinand.compared to RXtools it went considerably slower though.
installing 2 cias took over 3 hours, i doubt its intended to take that long
I agree, the PSP really was the holy grail of portable homebrew goodness. In any case, the 3ds scene is looking good right now; here's hoping it grows even better!Yeah that would be really sweet but yes I know it would against Rei's philiosphy and I totally understand that. I mean booting NTR isn't hard and having these features in Rei would really only be a convenience but I can live without it And yeah I remember the PSP Plugins, Remote Joy was THE thing back in the day along with custom music and whatever extensions and OSDs you could get. I think in terms of this the PSP was the best handheld! But really, using my PSP 2000 nowdays the screen really is bad
@Aurora Wright @fate6 @SomeGamer No, I installed nver before I update emunand via system setting. I will try uninstall nver. Also thank you for your replies

Try BootCtr. It loads RxTools pretty quick for me.Well I tried it out for science lol, no apparent difference in boot speed by removing the code vs. just using a black splash.bin screen >.<
Both times I get around 24s to boot.
15s +/- to load the menuhax up to ctrbootmanager selection screen
9s +/- to go from ctrbootmanager selection screen (reinand launch) to home screen
This was done using a Lexar 300x class 10 UH1 Micro SD card.
Edit: Shaved around 1.5 seconds off directly loading the ReiNand.dat instead of using the .3dsx
So final clock was around 22.5s, unless the payload becomes faster doubt that's going down lol reiNand is fast =)

Anyway, after setting up reinand on my brand new n3dsxl I have to say I love its no-nonsense approach, everything just works. Plus, you've apparently got some great taste as far as anime goes haha. So, thank you for your hard work @Reisyukaku!
Oh, definitely. Again, here's hoping! As for boot rates, I'm under the impression new 3ds units have way better boot rates overall. Even menuhax, which is quite finnicky in my original one, boots nearly 100% of the time. Reinand itself has crashed like once or twice in all my testing so far. I'm loving all this hunting around for good hb to try out, I missed it all! =DYeah the 3DS could overtake the PSP with time, we are certainly in a good position right now And I agree, I'm glad I switched to ReiNAND, it has a 100% boot-rate so far for me
Also, is it normal for the boot image just not to appear sometimes or rapidly flash? It doesn't seem to affect other behavior, but I did find it a bit odd. Of course, no big deal.
